Before starting my business I had flitted between part-time jobs and self-employment. I had volunteered with the Sea Cadet Corps and the girl guide, I had worked doing cleaning; admin; partylite; and Avon among other things. I was never happy or motivated, though.

I signed up as a way to get out of the house while my son was small, and to earn some spending money for myself. Not for one second did I think it would change my life the way it has.  I'm reducing my dose in preparation to wean off my medication after 10 years; getting a lot more exercise than I was when paying for a gym membership; bringing in a second income to my household. All thanks to my wonderful business.
